Welcome to Brain Clash Mode, the thrilling competitive mode in the memory game! Here, you go head-to-head against an AI opponent in a race to match card pairs. This turn-based mode tests your memory, speed, and strategy, with trap cards and an increasingly clever AI adding to the challenge. Your goal is to outscore the AI by matching more pairs or to survive tiebreaker rounds in case of a draw. Success earns you coins, level progression, and the satisfaction of beating the AI!
Game Mechanics
Objective
Your goal is to match more card pairs than the AI before the level ends. You win if you match more pairs, lose if the AI does, or enter a tiebreaker round if you tie.
Turn-Based Gameplay
You and the AI take turns flipping two cards to find a match. Each turn has a 30-second time limit. If you match a pair, you continue your turn; if you mismatch or hit a trap card, the turn switches. You always start first, giving you a slight edge.
Card Types
Matching Pairs: Standard cards that come in pairs with identical images. Matching these adds to your score.
Trap Cards: Single cards that appear after level 10 (or randomly before). They include:
Lose Turn Card: Ends your turn immediately.
Time Penalty Card: Deducts 5 seconds from your turn time.
Level Progression
Levels start with 6 pairs (12 cards) and scale up to 24 pairs (48 cards) as you progress. After level 10, a trap card is guaranteed per level. If a level has 16+ cards, it’s split into two halves:
First Half: 8 pairs (16 cards) + possible trap card.
Second Half: Remaining pairs + possible trap card.
Time and Turn Limits
Each turn lasts 30 seconds. If time runs out, your turn ends. Trap cards like Time Penalty reduce your turn time, so stay sharp!
AI Behavior
AI Memory and Accuracy
The AI tracks cards it has seen, with accuracy increasing by level:
Levels 1–20: 60% accuracy, 20% chance to forget a card.
Levels 21–40: 75% accuracy, 15% chance to forget.
Levels 41–60: 90% accuracy, 10% chance to forget.
Levels 61–80: 95% accuracy, 5% chance to forget.
Levels 81+: 100% accuracy, no forgetting.
The AI prioritizes known pairs, then single known cards, and falls back to random choices if needed.
AI Trap Card Selection
The AI may mistakenly select trap cards, with probability decreasing by level:
Levels 1–20: 20% chance.
Levels 21–40: 15% chance.
Levels 41–60: 10% chance.
Levels 61–80: 5% chance.
Levels 81+: 2% chance.
Help System
Using Helps
Helps are available via the game interface, costing coins and limited to a set number per level (usually 2). They deduct points from your score but can give you an edge. If you lack coins or exceed the limit, you’ll get an error notification.
Scoring & Rewards
Scoring System
Scoring starts at 1000 points per level:
Attempts Bonus: +200 points for perfect attempts (no mismatches), +100 for up to 2 extra attempts, or -10 points per extra attempt beyond that.
Help Penalty: Each help used deducts 50 points.
Your score adds to your total game score.
Coin Rewards
Coins are earned based on your level:
Levels 1–20: 50 + 5 × level.
Levels 21–40: 150 + 10 × (level - 20).
Levels 41–60: 350 + 15 × (level - 40).
Levels 61–80: 650 + 15 × (level - 60).
Levels 81+: 950 + 5 × (level - 80).
You also earn 5 coins per matched pair, with a 20% bonus for winning.
Winning and Losing
Win by matching more pairs than the AI to advance to the next level and earn full coins. Lose if the AI matches more, earning only coins for your pairs. Ties trigger a 16-card tiebreaker round.
Tips & Strategies
